Beaver News - 1st Stretford (Longford) Scout Group

The Wed Colony followed a similar programme to the Mon Colony by planting more bulbs by the car park near to The Ranche and then colouring in, cutting out and assembling a Guardsman using brass paper fasteners. Hopefully the bulbs will survive and bring a splash of colour to this part of the park rather than becoming food for the local squirrels.

This week the Beavers have been planting bulb both to take home and to plant in the park near to The Ranche. This will add a splash of colour, we hope, to the car park near The Ranche that is if the squirrels have not eaten them before they have had time to grow.

This is the Beaver's chance to tell us what they liked and disliked with the programme we plan for them.

11th & 13th July Teamwork

This week the Beavers are completing the Teamwork Challenge. One of the Challenges involved the Beavers working in pairs with one having a drawing and the other having to draw what their partner was describing without having seen what they were supposed to be drawing.

Longford Scouts is an active Scout Group based at the Ranche in Longford Park, Stretford in Manchester. We accept boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 18. We are a registered charity.
