Uniform

Cubs wear a dark green sweatshirt and their group necker. The group provides the first necker when your child is invested. Parents buy the sweatshirt and other uniform items from Scout Stores or other suppliers.

Moving on to Scouts

Young people usually move from Cubs to Scouts three times a year – in January, after Easter, and at the start of September. Your leader will talk to you about when moving on is right for your child, based on confidence and readiness as well as age.

When it’s time, they’ll be welcomed into Scouts for the next stage of their adventure.
