Bonfire Night

Over 500 people, the largest ever!
We had snacks, sparklers, a bonfire and a half an hour long firework display. It was a bit muddy but we had yummy burgers to eat.

Jelly Partridge - Our Wild Food Experience

Today we plucked and prepared a partridge to eat and also made jam. Owen taught us how to make our own food from wild resources so we made jam out of crab apples and rose hips, and also plucked, gutted and cooked two partridge birds! The ingredients for jam were all foraged locally and Owen and his dog, Winston, caught the birds themselves!

Quiz Night

This week, whilst half of the group were climbing, we had a quiz night. We were in groups of 2-6 and were asked questions in certain categories. The categories were sports, music, general knowledge, tv and film, geography and scouting. At first there two winning groups but we had a tie breaker and the overall winners were, Kipp, Luca, Wilf, Joe and Riley!
