On Sunday the 8th July there was another District organised activity with a visit to the Crocky Trail near Chester. Although the weather forecast had not been very promising it turned out to be a lovely day. The five of our Beavers who came on the outing had a good time on the various activities and walking round the trail with its variety of bridges over the stream, swings, tunnels, balancing planks etc to keep them occupied. The brochure said it was a mile round the trail but it seemed further. When we got back from the trail it was time for lunch and then in the afternoon more time was spent on the activities near the entrance.
