This week the Beavers were celebrating St Davids Day. They were given a picture to colour in, which also contained some facts about St David. They then made a ‘rocking sheep’, which they had to glue together and then attach cotton wool for his fleece.
Well done to Sandy on achieving his first and second stage swimming badge. Beavers were reminded that this coming Saturday – 1st March 2014 – there will be a practice for the Swimming Gala. The Gala will take place on Saturday 8th March 2014. We hope to retain the shield that the Longford Beavers won last year.
