Stretford District Scouts had their own football competition in June, just before the World Cup kicked off. On a sunny evening in Longford Park, 5-a-side teams from Longford, Quest and Firswood took part in a round robin series of matches spread over three pitches. Longford B and Quest came out on top to qualify for the final, which turned out to be a close run contest. Quest quickly moved into a two goal lead, but Longford B hit back to pinch it 3-2! Congratulations to all who took part for making it such a memorable tournament.
