This week we celebrated Halloween – each colony was given toilet rolls and then they had to make a mummy of one of their colleagues. Some did a good job, as seen in the photograph.
We then separated into Colonies and visited four different areas – one to try and cut a piece of chocolate with a knife and fork, try and get a piece of apple out of a bowl of water and then find spiders etc in flour – find spiders, ghosts, etc in a bowl of cold spaghetti. We then had a row of doughnuts tied onto a string and they had to put their hands behind their back and try and eat the doughnut. I am sure the Beavers enjoyed all the eating !!!
