This week we had a visit from Mr Dennis Stephenson – a member of the Group many years ago and he told the Beavers of when he was a young boy during the war. The Beavers were shown a ration book and asked him questions about his time during the war. We then played a game of hopscotch – which would have been played on the streets during that time. The Beavers were exceptionally well behaved and thanked Mr Stephenson for his time with us.
