The Group Camp was held over the weekend at Dunham Park Scout Camp with over 100 youngsters taking part with several Leaders and parents helping run it. The Cubs and Scouts plus the Tuesday Beavers arrived on Friday night. The Beavers inside a building the rest outside in tents. On Saturday morning the Wednesday Beavers arrived. The Beavers, Cubs and Scouts were split into Section groups with one of their Leaders and allocated time slots for various activities such as archery, backwoods cooking, bouldering, blindfold trail, photo quiz etc. The picture attached shows Group 2 “hanging about” on the bouldering wall. The Tuesday Beavers left Saturday evening and the Wednesday Beavers left Sunday morning so they each had 24 hours at the camp. From what I have heard or E-mails I have seen the Beavers enjoyed themselves. I now have to book everything they did into the various badges.
