As there are no Beaver meetings next week, we celebrated Halloween this week. Many of the children came in fancy dress and well done to Grace for winning the prize for the best costume.
The room was set up with four stations and each lodge visited each one – the first one they had to decorate a marshmallow by using icing to stick chocolate buttons, candy floss etc. to make a face – they then had to try and ‘catch’ a doughnut in their mouth whilst it was suspended on string – they then made made a party bag and then finally they had to put their face in a bowl of flour and try to retrieve either a small toy or a sweet. A very noisy but enjoyable time was had by all.
