This week we were planting bulbs – unfortunately the weather beat us on Tuesday, so we had to just plant the bulbs in pots. Each beaver was given a pot, compost and a bulb which they planted and took home. We will ask them to bring the bulbs back later in the year and we will see whose is the tallest. The Wednesday Group were able to plant some crocus outside, as well as planting the pot.
Well done to Josh on bringing in a log he had written over a period 12 weeks to gain his Gardening badge. Let’s hope it encourages the rest of the Beavers to try and complete some badges.
