Just before the weather got really cold and the unfortunate lockdown started again, part of the Scouts’ weekly rotation was joining me on a Night Hike around the local green areas.
We all met up in our coats and our boots, gloves and hats and trudged across the fields towards the Mersey and on to Sale Waterpark.
We kept a good pace the whole time despite the inevitable rain and spirits were high.
There were lots of tired feet and wet clothes. I needed an early night after all that, so I hope the Scouts did too!
