This week we were joined by the British Red Cross for a virtual first aid course.
The scouts learned about the do’s and don’ts of first aid and the right steps to take when in an emergency situation, including ensuring your own safety first and getting someone to help you when possible.
We learned what to do and how to deal with injuries such as burns, broken bones and seizures.
A big thank you to the British Red Cross for leading this week’s session, and helping the scouts learn potentially life-saving skills!
