At our meeting on the 8th of February we had various games involving replica pancakes. First the “simple” one just tossing the pancake and catching it then we moved onto tossing on the move, whilst blindfold and facing backwards then turning round and catching it. We also made Valentine cards.
We decided to take a break for Half Term.
Last week we commemorated the Chinese New Year with looking at which animal was the sign for the year you were born. We also looked at what the lucky numbers, colours and characteristics were for different birth years. There was also a word search involving words associated with Chinese New Year celebrations and a True or False Quiz relating to China.
