After a few more serious sessions over the last few weeks, this week was a little more relaxed as we ran a series of games and quizzes.
Oliver’s Generation Game
We started with Ol’s generation game. The scouts were shown a random collection of items and had 10 minutes to try and remember as many as possible. The items (carefully selected from whatever Oliver happened to have lying around!) ranged from a colander to an OS map!
Josh’s Lego Challenge
After the excitement of the Generation Game, we moved on to Josh’s lego quiz. There were a series of scenes from famous movies or stories, but everything had been replaced by lego! Luckily the Lego Movie wasn’t among the clues. The thinking outside the box (or block in this case) needed for this challenge was equally fun and frustrating for both scouts and leaders!
Big Al’s Big Kahoot
To wrap up the evening we had Big Al’s latest epic Kahoot quiz! On special request, rounds this week included ‘Sharks’ and ‘Volcanoes’ and as yet again the leaders’ competitive nature saw them top the leaderboard at the end.
