Tonights activity was on FIRE! That’s right, Scouts were back making fires for the first time this year (real fires). This challenge was all about using the skills which were gathered in the weeks prior when learning to use axes, saw’s and knives to cut, and handle wood. Using as few matches as possible (most with flint and steels), Scouts built fires big and small. The young people were rewarded with smores at the end of the day – again; some better than others!!! Well done to everyone – especially for not burning yourselves!
