The report this week is for the past 2 weeks. The Beavers had two activities – the story was told on the Monday and the Green Cross Code on the Wednesday. The second week the activities were changed over.
Deborah came and read a story to the Beavers – this was a story about a kite, that got stuck up a tree. As they could not get the kite down, they threw a lot of other items to try and dislodge the Kite. The Beavers were then given a piece of paper with the trunk of a tree printed on it. They then were given leaves and pictures of some of the items to decorate the tree.
The second activity was the Green Cross Code – the Beavers were given one word from a phrase appertaining to the Green Cross Code. The rest of the sentence was hidden in the grass – they had to find each sentence and determine which sentence it belonged too. Both weeks the weather was very kind to us.
