This week the Beavers are thinking about their Beaver Promise. This involves playing games that relate to the Beaver Promise. Today because it was the funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II they were asked about whether they had watched any of the funeral on TV and their thoughts. The Beaver Promise as such does not mention the Monarch but all of the other Section Promises do refer to the person’s Duty to the Monarch. Then a poem was read that had been supplied by the Scout Association to be read at any meeting held on the day of the funeral.
