For the last of our programmed weeks before the Christmas break, we took the scouts on a cold and icy night hike around Chorlton water park.
The difference in temperature between the two weeks mysteriously correlated with the difference in the number of scouts who braved the elements on our route! Though perhaps it was the more sensible among the group that elected to stay in the warm!
Starting from Turn Moss, we walked along the river, crossing the bridge past the Jackson’s Boat and, navigating the stepping stones, walked around the water park until we once again joined the river to lead us back to our starting point.
Well done to all scouts who came along for the hike!
