The Beavers went on a Treasure Hunt finding the answers to a number of questions and using the Green Cross Code to cross a road. There was no physical treasure just using their eyes to find the answers to questions where the answers could be found simply by looking at various signs, poster or notices attached to walls, fences or posts. Most of the Beavers were successful in spotting the relevant signs. One of things the Beavers did at the recent camp was to attend a Camp Fire. One of the traditional things that can be seen at a Scout Camp Fire are “Camp Fire Blankets”. These are of no fixed pattern they are of whatever form the owner wants or that they or their parent can design. When the Beavers returned from the Treasure Hunt they were able to see Naomi & Keith’s Camp Fire Blankets. Each are of different designs with the various badges collected displayed differently. Illustrated is the front of my blanket which I arranged to show my Scouting history and the County Badges of some of the Scouts I have met over the years.
