The programme for this week was for Water Games but after looking at the weather forecast for the week the Leaders decided that having cold wet Beavers was going to be a good decision so the “wet” part of the programme was changed. So this week the Beavers have played a variety of games inside The Ranche. One of which is illustrated. The games is called Horse & Jockey though in the Beaver version unlike in the Cub & Scout versions the jockey does not actually get on the horse’s back. On “GO” the jockey goes through the legs of the horse and runs round the outside of the circle and back to their starting position. Last riders are eliminated along with their horse until you end up with a winner.
