As the first meeting after Christmas this is traditionally a Games Night. The first game is one that any last minute arrivals can join in. Each Lodge is defending their quarter of the room to keep a ball out of their quarter by throwing or hitting it into another quarter. periodically play is stopped and a life lost if the ball is in your quarter. Another game involves a story being read with lots of “Left” and “Right/Wright” involved. A parcel is passed left or right according to what is being read. At the end of the story whoever has the parcel gets to keep it. Another game involved listening to and watching what the person was staying/drawing as he drew the moon and its features. A Beaver was then asked if they could repeat what had just happened. None of the Monday Beavers was successful. We will see what happens on Wednesday night. Another game involved a parachute.
