Scouts took part in a session all about renewable energy, focusing on how solar panels work and why switching to cleaner energy sources is so important.
Danielle, one of our trustees, joined the session to share her knowledge and run some hands-on activities that helped bring the topic to life. The Scouts learned how sunlight can be turned into electricity, how energy is stored, and how using renewables can help reduce our impact on the environment.
It was especially relevant as our Scout HQ now has 20 solar panels on the roof, generating clean energy for the building.
