To gain the Digital Maker stage 1 badge, the Beavers had to undertake 3 tasks. They had to draw the parts of a computer on paper, thinking about all the hardware you need to make a computer work. They used laptops, tablets and a desktop computer to create some digital art – namely a picture of a tent, flagpole and campfire! Lastly, they gave each other instructions to get through a maze blindfolded, picking up the key to a treasure chest on the way, to help them understand how computers follow instructions.
