This week both the Monday Cubs and Wednesday Cubs groups visited the Gita Bhavan Hindu Temple in Manchester. During the visit, the Cubs were given a guided tour of the temple where they learned about various Hindu deities and the significance of the temple in the local community. They were shown different parts of the temple, including the main prayer hall and the community centre.The Cubs also had the opportunity to observe a live Puja ceremony. Following the ceremony, they engaged in a Q&A session with the temple priest who explained the meanings of the rituals and answered questions from the Cubs about Hindu traditions and cultural practices. The visit was organized to help broaden their understanding of different religious communities.
