A big thanks to everyone who came to support the Saturday sections Ramadan fundraiser.+ yesterday. We had an evening of family fun with a variety of crafts, a bake sale, a fruit salad station, archery, henna, face painting and auction – thanks to all those who generously donated prizes for the auction.
A special thanks to two special Beaver volunteers Attia and Mariam for donating and cooking everyone's iftar (the meal we break our days fast with) – it was quite the feast! Lots of happy faces and bellies 🙂
Over £900 was raised towards building our new toilets this summer, with 10% given to a local food bank.
