Second meeting back this term, we kicked it off with a refresh of map reading using the map key to identify terrain types, path types and to locate campsites. As well as learning how to take a bearing. They used these skills to create a map of the scout hut and get another group to follow it.
We also did some first aid, covering recovery position, making a sling, how to bandage an eye as well as being supportive and reassuring to a casualty.
