Today at Saturday Beavers, the children engaged in a craft activity where they designed custom book covers. They used a mix of crafts, colors, and glue to either recreate covers of books they have read or to invent covers for books they plan to craft themselves.Following the creative session, the Beavers listed six books they have read or are looking forward to reading. They gathered in a circle to discuss the best ways to care for and preserve books. After completing their activities, the children received their achievement badges.
