This week the Tuesday Explorers focused their session on learning how to set up and use a slack-line system. The setup involved understanding the factors affecting tension and balance, enhancing their practical and analytical skills. Despite the persistent rain, the Explorers managed to successfully establish the slack-line and took turns trying it out, carefully balancing and walking across.The session not only introduced the Explorers to new equipment but also enabled them to apply principles of physics in a real-world setting. Through this activity, they gained firsthand experience in managing a physical task under less than ideal weather conditions, highlighting adaptability and teamwork.
