Thursday Scouts camped on 3 and 4 October. The older scouts completed a 28 km hike over two days to achieve their expedition challenge badge. They cooked their meals on trangias while out on the hike.The remaining scouts honed their camp craft by putting up patrol tents and cooking on fires. Some cooked chilli and rice for tea and made bacon butties for breakfast. Camp ended with a trip to the ice-cream shop at Dunham Massey.
