Eleven Beavers turned up for the Parade, the remaking of the Promises and the afternoon of activities that followed. Some were not able to come because of First Communion commitments. Fortunately the afternoon stayed dry for most of the time so the young members of Scouting and Guiding were able to enjoy the activities that had been put on for them. It was unfortunate that the Leaders had to clear up in the rain.
For the first time in many, many years the Group gained the trophy for the smartest turn out of any Scout Group on Parade.
