The Scouts recently had an archery evening where they learned the basics of archery, focusing on safety and skill. While some of the scouts were experienced archers, for others, this was their first time holding a bow and arrow. Despite their skill levels, all scouts were enthusiastic and ready to learn. The activity was designed to teach the scouts about the fundamentals of archery, including correct handling of the equipment, stance, and aiming.
After the practice rounds, the scouts split into teams and took on the fun and challenging game of shooting arrows at pictures of fruit to create a fictional fruit cocktail. The aim was to hit as many different fruit targets as possible and create the best fruit cocktail. The game required teamwork, communication, and focus to be successful. The scouts were excited to take on the challenge, and the competition was intense.
