This weekend some members of all 3 of Longford’s Beaver Colonies took advantage of a chance to experience a short camp at Dunham Scout Camp Site. After arriving on Saturday morning there were organised activities for the Beavers to take part in. The activities included Rocket launches, Archery, Pioneering, and lighting a fire and cooking marshmallows over a fire. There was a Camp Fire in the evening organised by another Group in camp. After a night’s “sleep” in a tent the Beavers returned home on Sunday morning.
