Scouts took part in a Skills Challenge activity focused on understanding how different choices affect our health and wellbeing.
The evening included discussions about the harmful effects of drugs and alcohol, helping Scouts understand how these substances can impact both the body and mind. They talked openly about peer pressure, decision-making, and how to make positive choices in difficult situations.
The session also looked at the importance of a balanced diet and getting enough sleep. Scouts shared their own ideas about what makes a healthy meal and how small changes – like cutting down on sugar or getting a bit more rest – can make a big difference to energy and mood.
It was a thoughtful and practical session, giving Scouts the knowledge and confidence to make healthy decisions in their everyday lives.
